The Hiedanranta idea competition
COMPETITION PROPOSAL: ‘TUKKINIPUT’ (LOG BUNDLES)
The Tukkiniput competition proposal by BST-Arkkitehdit Oy was selected as one of the best in the Hiedanranta idea competition in Tampere. A log raft that consists of different log bundles served as the metaphor for the competition proposal. Functional park zones and the modified coastline demarcate the areas, which all have their own distinctive character. At the block level, we tried out imaginative typologies that combined various scales.
